For over 24 years, our co-founder Arun Sharma has lived with kidney disease. Despite accessing top-tier medical care, he discovered too late that CKD progression could be managed with the right interventions. Often, his doctors didn't spend enough time to offer personalized care or discuss potential interventions. Similarly, Dr. Bessant Parker, a primary care physician and Arun's close friend, witnessed patients deteriorating due to delayed appointments and lack of awareness about kidney failure risks. United by their shared experiences, Arun and Bessant founded Reset Kidney Health, driven by the belief that kidney patients deserve better.
Our Story
Our Founders
Reset Kidney Health was founded on deep personal experience with kidney disease—Arun as a patient and Bessant as a doctor. We know kidney disease because we've lived with kidney disease.
