Clinical Expertise: Early identification and prevention of progressive chronic kidney disease; hypertension management, home dialysis, and kidney transplant management.

Dr. Benjamin Fritz is a board-certified nephrologist with over 20 years of experience in clinical practice. After graduating from Stanford University School of Medicine, he pursued an internal medicine residency at UC Davis Medical Center, then returned to Stanford Medical Center to complete his fellowship training in nephrology. He practiced clinical nephrology as a partner with Nephrology Associates of Santa Rosa between 2002 and 2022. During his tenure, he served as medical director of WellBound - Santa Rosa, a home-dialysis program, for 17 years. He also served as chief of staff at Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital between 2016-2017. In 2020, he earned an M.B.A. from Auburn University. He currently works as a consultative nephrologist at Providence St Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT. 

Dr. Fritz is dedicated to improving the care of individuals with chronic kidney disease, from early identification and treatment to promoting home dialysis and timely referral for kidney transplantation.
