Arun has 16+ years of healthcare experience spanning strategy, operations, and technology roles. He previously served as VP, Strategy & Transformation at Optum. He created growth strategies for several businesses, including Optum Insight, Optum's technology and managed services business with $12B+ revenue. He also built and led teams to automate Optum's admin and clinical operations using AI, driving $100M+ in efficiencies. He led several large-scale initiatives to improve the performance of the business, including Payment Integrity and Customer Care.

At Fresenius Medical Care, the world’s largest kidney care company, he focused on growing the home dialysis business by redesigning patient education programs and reducing patient churn. He helped drive the growth strategies of several key markets across the country. He also served as VP Strategy at Modern Health, a mental health startup backed by Founders Fund and Kleiner Perkins.

He holds an MS from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.B.A from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
